I really like the Spigen brand. I've been using them on phones, tablets and watches for years. They're reliable, protect well, hold devices well, have elaborate cutouts for buttons and connectors, dissipate heat better than other cases, and so on. I haven't used covers on watches before. Samsung watches have always lasted me, except for minor cosmetic defects when I bumped the rotating lunette on the Samsung Watch 4. When I got the Samsung Watch 5 Pro in titanium with a sapphire crystal, I figured any extra protection was unnecessary. Then one time when I was hastily taking off my watch in the bathroom, it slipped out of my hand and fell right onto the tile with the clasp button. And the button was at the KO site. I'm careful with my gear, but randomness is stupid and some things just don't prevent over time if you want to actively use the gear. Then I got a Spigen cover. It protects the buttons beautifully while not restricting the use of the buttons. It raises the height only very minimally. It doesn't catch anywhere when I put it on because it has a beautifully smooth finish. I've already tested the case several times and I wouldn't let Spigen's Samsung Watch 5 Pro case go to waste. When I got the Samsung Watch Ultra, I immediately bought a Spigen case for it, expecting a similar experience to the previous case, but no. The increase in height is really abnormal and practically unnecessary. Various protrusions and cutouts cause catching and even unpleasant use. Yet they have only a visual purpose. The protrusions around the buttons make it difficult to press, while the button presses well and is not as protected. Someone really hasn't thought at all. He designed something he thought was stylish and robust and threw it into production without any testing. If only the top and bottom buttons could be pressed torch-like in the cover, it could be used with gnashing of teeth at least through the summer. I don't think so. I like big chunky watches, I'm not a skinny hand girl, but height is always a detriment with watches. On the contrary, it increases the chance of tripping over something and reduces the comfort of not being in the way of your watch during various activities. For me, it's much better for the watch to be bigger in width and not in height. This cover is disappointing to me. The 2 stars are just for the fact that the watch really protects. Design should not be at the expense of usability. I'm returning the cover and I'm going to try the Caseology Vault cover, which shouldn't raise the height as much and is smooth so it won't catch on clothes as much. Damn this look. I don't like it that much and I'm not going to put a new 17k watch in a display case where I'll just look at it.
