Switching from B&W Pi8 (€295); two pairs suffered from Bluetooth dropouts when walking, a non-functioning wear sensor and an unusable microphone for calls. The Technics AZ100 solves everything - the sound on flat EQ over LDAC is at a level that sometimes gives me goosebumps when listening. No workarounds, no turning off functions. They just work. Although I followed the instructions and very carefully, after the replacement the sound deteriorated significantly, very unpleasant hiss and high frequencies came out and even corrections via EQ or reset did not help. So if you buy them and they fit true to size, don't change the elastics. There's a risk that you'll turn them into a bunch of cheap plugs for a few crowns. I'm upset because I don't know what happened.
