This is a surprisingly functional product. First of all, it is really very compact, so it is convenient for travel. The cable is about 2.5 metres long and also thick enough so that there is no scratching (on the other hand, the cable weighs as much as a hairdryer, perhaps it would be worth considering an interchangeable cable in two lengths). The ergonomics are great. Not only does the hairdryer feel very comfortable to hold (even in a woman's hand), but the physical hard-press controls prevent accidental pressing. The signalling is trivial, but sufficient. The temperature and blow buttons are double buttons far apart, so it is very easy to control the hair dryer by tactile memory. The toggle switch is also an excellent choice. The cold air blow switch does not need to be held. The hairdryer has a self-cleaning function (pressing the -Temperature and -Air buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds), when at full power it reverses the direction of blowing air for about 15 seconds and most of the dirt from the suction filter it blows out. Of course, you can also get to the filter without tools and clean it manually. The attachments are magnetic. The magnet is a bit weaker than the competition, but the attachments hold up even with wilder hair dryer manipulation, so hopefully it won't be a bad thing. The engine is in a category of its own, as it is incredibly quiet. Apart from the fact that it is electronically controlled, it is really soundproof, the hair dryer even has a silencer! The turbine provides a very decent airflow, which is among the top in this price range. The downside is that the turbine reaches very high speeds and kind of squeaks, maybe more sensitive people will have a problem with this. The big question for the future is the swivel joint. If there are only plastic teeth, that will be a weak point where the handle will eventually stop holding position. But we'll find out in time. Overall, I rate the hair dryer as the hit of the year among hair dryers, especially at the current price!
