For me, the expectation is fulfilled. We have two peeing dogs at home and I took it for daily maintenance (once a week I vacuum properly anyway with a big vacuum cleaner it doesn't miss). It picks up hairs and crumbs without any problem, it drives purposefully next to the place (no confused driving), it can be set to drive around walls only. We don't have carpeting, so I'm not evaluating that. For those who don't want miracles and IQ of a thousand, I think it is acceptable for a good price. However, if you need more detailed settings in the application in terms of some space demarcations, etc. - I would choose another device with more options.
