Used for guarding the soil against encroaching animals. Good night vision, automatic darkness detection by default. Importantly the default setting is reasonable for a "security/surveillance" camera. The picture is quite satisfactory for these purposes. The sound transmission is only basic, but again for this purpose it is quite satisfactory. After the first start-up it asks for an update. But it doesn't take long and it runs automatically without a problem.
By default, it uploads to the card only when motion is detected. So practically you don't need such a big card. Consequently, searching through the recordings is easier.
Automatic switch to night vision.
Quite a simple application.
It can work on local WiFi hopefully without communicating to any cloud (Except for registration)
According to the manual, the camera should support cards up to 128 GB. But at least in my case it refused it and I had to buy 64GB.
It can sort of alarm, or alarm, but it's so weak, the camera doesn't light up much or make a very loud sound. It's hard to scare away a cat or a marten that crawls where it shouldn't.
There is no way to connect other devices to amplify the alert/alarm than through their smart platform.
To use, you must enter your email and create an account with the manufacturer. Which didn't work the first day.
You'll be looking for some things in that app for a while.
