I bought 4 modules. I use all of them in UniFi USW Aggregation switches. All delivered in version 1.20 (current version is 2.0). They get quite hot (you will burn your fingers on them), the manufacturer does not specify the chipset used, however, you can find 10Gbps modules with Broadcom chipset, which are much less hot. The module does not report its temperature to the switch. On the plus side, they work at 2.5Gbps speeds - tested by plugging the other side into a 2.5Gbps network card and measuring the speed. The switch with the module itself does not need to support this speed and the module communicates with the switch in which it is connected at 10Gbps. Interestingly, when connecting an AP with a 1Gbps interface, or another client, the speed was much lower than 1Gbps. For this purpose I do not recommend this module and it is better to buy another much cheaper 1Gbps SFP module. Speed at 10Gbps is adequate - tested using iPerf3 in multiple threads. One of the 4 modules I purchased was randomly disconnected (after 14 days of operation) and was recalled. From the complaint came HW version 2.0 which works so far.
