I work in 3D CAD + play the occasional FPS shooter. I was looking for a cordless that would fit my hand, not cramp after a few hours of work, and have adequate sensitivity and response. I was expecting to have to get a device for thousands, but I spotted this mouse with backlighting that fits incredibly well with my laptop with backlit keys. I just had to try it for the price. The size, design, shape, weight, support platforms making it easy to move the mouse on almost any pad, all of this fit me beautifully and working with the mouse became a pleasure. Sensitivity and response speed is above expectations for this price category = I have no problem with 3D CAD or gaming. The sophisticated power saving system ensures, in my opinion, a very high battery life. Auto switching off the backlight, while the mouse is stand-by = you touch and it responds immediately (does not need to be activated by clicking). The mouse does not activate unless it has a connection to the usb receiver = you forget to turn it OFF for example and throw it in your backpack, where frequent or even permanent button pressing occurs - you just don't happen to be permanently discharging it while carrying it. I've changed the battery 4 times in half a year and for carrying the mouse loose in my backpack all the time, it has no damage or scratches. Only 2 things bother me a little bit. First, the right and left mouse button clicks quite loudly - everyone in the vicinity will notice you and if you are working late into the night, then someone from the next room is sure to hear you. The second is that the centre wheel is quite hard to press. This causes you to exert noticeably more force and you are more likely to be able to turn the wheel than just press it. Otherwise, it's a really super quality and fancy device for the price. I always have to laugh when one of my 3D CAD colleagues solves problems, or actually anything with peripherals for several thousand and I have it solved beautifully and reliably for a few hundred: )
