The desk controller is a great thing, but why the hell didn't they put lights on it to show if 1 or 2 devices are connected?!
For proper operation, you need to plug in the power supply (from the back), which is USB C. Transformer and cable are not included. It's not shown in the description or pictures, but it's the first thing you learn after unpacking. It seems like a fraudulent practice by the manufacturer.
The desk controller weighs a few grams and even a simple twist of the cable can take it somewhere else. I personally had to stick it on with double sided tape.
A couple of hundred more just for having a small controller on your desk and a USB C instead of a USB A.
