The device does not actually support Matter, or at least there is no Matter QR or numeric code in the package. It's theoretically possible that it could go through the mobile app somehow, but to be able to add the spinner to the app at all, you need to have at least one Wiz bulb, which I don't have, so I couldn't even connect it to the app, let alone to Smartthings.

Despite what I describe in the cons, overall I recommend it, the base thankfully isn't that visible with the switch on and the controller itself is more important and it works great.
The controller itself has a great design, illuminated ring, looks premium, unfortunately the same cannot be said for the base.

The base is bent and the metal surfaces for the switch magnets are only glued on, they could be e.g. forged in plastic. One of them fell off on the first day, luckily it was taped with double-sided tape. The base thus spoils the otherwise premium impression of the switch itself.
