How does 24/7 pickup work?

For orders with pickup at Alza Shop Karlsplatz, we always prepare items for collection in the AlzaBox, which is accessible 24/7 either inside the store or via a separate entrance at Papagenogasse 1. Use the code from your e-mail or SMS to open this entrance. If your order contains larger items or the AlzaBox is full, your order will be ready for pickup inside the store during regular business hours.

What is an AlzaBox?

Simply put, the AlzaBox is a pickup locker located within the Alza store. The key difference? You can't manually select it as a delivery method. Your order is automatically routed to the AlzaBox when you choose "store pickup" and it meets size/price criteria. Learn more here.

The AlzaBox is located inside the shop. You can pick up your order at any time, even outside of store opening hours, as it is accessible via a separate entrance from Papagenogasse 1. You will receive a code to open this entrance by email or SMS along with the confirmation that your order is ready for pickup.

Where can I find the AlzaBox for 24/7 order pickup?

The AlzaBox is located inside the shop. Your ordered items can be collected at any time - even outside regular opening hours - through a separate entrance at Papagenogasse 1. You'll receive an access code via e-mail or SMS when your order is ready for pickup. Collect your order by entering the pickup code on the AlzaBox screen, or scan the QR code using code using our Alza app for contactless access.

Is parking available at the store?

The store doesn't have dedicated parking space, but you may use street parking or garages at the nearby Technical University.

Can I return items at the store?

Yes, we accept returns at the store and are happy to help with exchanges of faulty products. You can also file claims online. Please bring your proof of purchase and order number with you.
