The socket is great. I like that it is small, no big bago that blocks other sockets in the extension cord. I tried it on a 3.5 kW direct current heater and the socket switches even such a current-consuming appliance without any problem. I'm going to use it for a 3D printer. The socket has a button on it, so it can be operated without the app. However, the button can also be deactivated, for example for the children. But what I like the most is the great control interface in the app. Everything is clear and logical and nothing essential is missing. Shows current consumption - so it can also be used as a smart meter. I wanted to ask about the maximum length of the consumption history storage, so I called the RETLUX helpdesk, and holy wonder - I got through to a "live person" who advised me! I recommend the product, especially the control is somewhere else than most other smart sockets. Too bad it doesn't support 5GHz networks, but I don't mind.

It's interesting that the socket has two MAC addresses when accessing Wi-Fi, one used for registration and the other for normal function - just a reminder, if someone has a firewall enabled on the router, they need to add an exception to both MAC addresses. The Wi-Fi must be 2.4 GHz and the phone that the socket connects to via BlueTooth must be on the same Wi-Fi when pairing. Later on, the phone can be switched to any Wi-Fi or LTE, controlling it from anywhere. Retlux has a great app showing both instantaneous (about 1x every 30s) consumption and consumption history for the day, month, etc. It has a timer and a cycler. It just doesn't have an Apple Watch app, but you can get around that by pairing via the general Tuya app that Apple Watch supports. I am satisfied overall. I'm taking off a star for the unzipped zero.
