On/off crackling can be heard inside the equipment, but this is to be expected with material at rapid temperature change
There is a smell when you first use it, but it quickly passes and the next time you turn it on everything is fine
It has no fan, so the warm air does not spread quickly into the room

When the power is switched off, it goes into standby mode when reconnected, but does not start - in combination with the low tariff, it is practically unusable. This can be circumvented by manually triggering via the app, (unrealistic), or by plugging into a standard socket - there is currently no price difference between tariffs and it is questionable if/when there will be. Even so, it is completely unreliable for tempering the object, just one short power failure.
Completely illogical temperature control, cannot be intuitively controlled by pressing only +/-, this is reserved for mode switching (you need to activate the temperature control by pressing another button first). Same for the remote control. It's a shame the software was made by mikymauz. The temperature control in the app is great.
