The pedals are fairly close together and quite slippery in socks -- totally fine for an Airbus comparison on approach, not for some long term dancing. There are plenty of buttons on all elements. The joystick has poorly designed rotation sensing, and for most people it starts to get bad early -- fortunately, in a pedal set it doesn't matter. The pedals are connected through the throttle, so the joystick can be upgraded.

Considering what I was transitioning from, this is not a step, but a leap forward.
The joystick is pretty responsive in a good way. It responds nicely to even small movements, but at the same time (and I'm not used to this) I didn't have to set any dead zone here. it just doesn't go anywhere when I let go of the joystick.
Definitely the best hotas to try if you're into it at all. It's not the cheapest one, which may even discourage you with its design, but at the same time it's not the most expensive one, which would suck half of your monthly salary out of your account and then you would regret the purchase because you would find out that this is not for you. I like flying with it, it's enough for me and when it stops working in a few years, I might get something more expensive.
