Operators in action
The team of elite police forces inevitably needs experts. Developers are now gradually representing individual gaming characters you encounter during gameplay. Each of them with specific features, advantages and disadvantages. This further strengthens the tactical aspect of the game, as only a properly aligned team can be victorious. Among the characters introduced so far are Sledge with a hammer, capable of breaking through armoured doors, Mute, who can interfere with enemy communication, Smoke, providing chemical garnets that cause damage and at the same time serve to provide you with cover, Thatcher with EMP grenades, Thermite, demolition expert, Castle, an expert on building Barricades and Ash, specialising in explosive projectile weapons. Build your team at your discretion, but remember, selection can greatly influence the outcome of the game.
Teamwork is essential
The basis of the game is to fight five-member teams that try to secure and protect the enemy while you're trying to protect and defeat the hostages. It is necessary to effectively take cover, as the enemy can lurk around every corner. From what is known to date, the possibility to respawn is eliminated, so each player will have only one life, just in the style of older Rainbow Six games. Quality team communication is therefore a must - you have to rely on one another to fight and work together to achieve your goals.
Procedurally destructible environment
With RealBlast, almost everything will be destroyed on the map. So be prepared for a destructive model that will have a significant impact on the game situation. Walls, ceilings, floors and barricades - everything can be removed with the right portion of explosives or concentrated fire. Each mission will be different, each with a different result. Rainbow Six: Siege will bring unexpected and unprecedented results.
