The memory of preset heights holds even after the power is turned off.
I recommend a board at least 70cm wide to overlap the leg structure. But even with 60 it is possible (I currently have).
When assembling a little problem with mounting the shaft to the second leg. It's handy to have an Allen (8 or 10, I don't remember exactly, a standard size set will do the trick) and a little bit of possibly turning the other leg by hand - then it's fine. I don't recommend you hit it hard, you risk bending the rod!
Instructions ok about 80% of the time. You will need a cordless drill (it works without it) and a spirit level. When mounting the handles on the power supply, mount the handles on the frame first and seat after the worktop is anchored (there would be no access to the screw)
