Considering the price, it is well equipped. It is practically designed, perhaps I would still welcome the possibility to fix the upper plate in several adjustable heights. You could then grill the top side without contact. Alternatively, it wouldn't squish the pastry so much that you don't get a pancake out of it. The quality of the hobs matches the price, but similarly equipped products with higher quality hobs cost around twice as much.
