After another SB 1500 Z sound card, I switched to this SB AE 5+ sound card for playing pc games and it works very well and is compatible with the Z906 Logitech speaker (I recommend) it plays at 122 db, so the neighbors always hit the ceiling with a broom to he calmed down. After a while the card started cracking and making strange noises and it was impossible to listen to it. Later I found out that only the first driver from Creative is stable, the next update will make it no longer functional, or the solution to the crackling can always be found either to quickly switch to headphones or to reduce the bits from 24 to 16. I can' t see, but it divided the quality of connecting analog or optical connections it doesn' t matter at all, only bass, stereo and surrond can be heard, but more detailed sounds, not anymore (Breaking glass, falling shards on the ground, silent footsteps from the speaker. etc.)
