After a great experience with the cloud 1 and cloud 2, I had to buy the latest cloud 3. Although I don't like the new design, the microphone mute button and volume wheel right on the headphones is definitely cool. The material of the headphones and the braided cable look very premium as always with the hyperX brand. In the box, in addition to the headphones, there is a 3.5mm jack to usb-c adapter and a usb-c to usb-a adapter, but what is missing in the box is the headphone bag that was in the previous models. When I compared the headphones with cloud 1 and cloud 2 the sound was slightly worse. It sounded more bassy and hollow, as if the sound source was half a meter away from my ears. I tried to connect the headphones to each other but the hyperx cloud 3 still didn't sound as good as its predecessors. But after installing the ngenuity software I adjusted the sound to my liking and now they sound perfect. The microphone on the headphones is better than the one on the cloud 1 or 2 for me, but I don't understand why there is no foam wind cover, which has always been with the hyperx headphones. If you already own a hyperx cloud 1 or 2 then there is definitely no reason to buy a cloud 3, but if you are buying new headphones and are willing to play around in ngenuity software then the cloud 3 is definitely better.
