When Apple revealed (officially) the design of the iPhone 17 Pro, I personally freaked out when I saw it. I told myself that I have never seen worse and uglier (especially the back side with the camera module) and that I will never buy this in my life. Well, as I'll never buy one, I was lucky enough to be among the first to get it as part of my pre-order. When I picked up the phone, it fit perfectly in my hand, felt great to hold, and the back suddenly didn't bother me. I don't know what caused me to change my mind, but I've gotten used to it. I carry my phone in a case that protects all its edges and I also have covers on the camera lenses. The phone is really incredibly fast and handled everything I asked of it perfectly - a casual user, but no games, listening to music on AirPods, and a little bit of some sports together with the Apple Watch. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Well, apart from the purchase price, of course. But I guess that's normal for Apple. Definitely don't hesitate to buy it, it's a high-end phone that you'll pay a rocket for, but it's worth it. I recommend breakage and theft insurance (if I have it paid for, I know nothing will ever happen to me: D: D ) and definitely a screen protector, and at the same time a cover that protects everything it can.

I ordered the iPhone 17Pro (along with the regular version) on September 14th as part of a pre-sale. But my phones didn't arrive until November 3. But as for the phone itself, I have to admit that it looks much better in real life than in photos or videos. It looked pretty bland in pictures, but in person it's a real gem. On the other hand, the new iOS hasn't impressed me much so far - visually it reminds me of the old Windows 7 with the Aero effect and, in my opinion, it has double the battery consumption. Fortunately, the new iPhones have a larger battery capacity and better battery life, so Apple probably saw this coming.
