I was pleasantly surprised by the bracelet. I'm a Samsung phone user, which the bracelet supposedly should work best with (I don't know, I can't judge). It's definitely a good display, which is overall nice and easy to read at the highest brightness (in sunlight). It's just quite susceptible to scratches. The automatic brightness works quite quickly. The four-way menu navigation is nice, but I personally don't use it. I find it a bit oversized (menu swipe down, tile swipe to the side, etc. ) I couldn't decide which features to have where, and the speed of operation doesn't really address that. In addition, a lot of functions are duplicated in different gesture directions and that bothers me. I like tidy..: -) The top menu icons (like on smartphones) are useful and configurable. There are lots of features and they are (mostly! ) adjustable. Battery life is decent. I have no problem getting on for 7-9 days, but (! ) I don't use the always-on display, I don't have continuous body function tracking set up, I have the weather filled in, and I occasionally take the bracelet off. The battery gets the most work when the flashlight is on (= white light on the display). Phone notifications, which are an important feature for many, work reliably for calendar and SMS/speech. But lately I've been having a problem with notifications from other apps (Messenger, etc. ). Maybe an update will fix it (? )
