I bought this soundbar, based on the excellent reviews, for a girlfriend for Christmas. had it at my house before and I'm really excited about the sound and I'm pretty into that. when I gave it to my girlfriend I wanted to buy an even better one so I got the 2x more expensive 3+1 channel T650. He has unfortunately disappointed! The wireless subwoofer didn't sound nearly as good as this passive one on the T420. The bass was indeterminate, in the room in certain places it was better in others worse. The T420 bass sounds beautifully even throughout the room. Plus, with the T650 I had to buy a splitter and extension cord to plug it in, few people have a subwoofer further than three feet from the TV Which is the length of the cable with this T420. So the T650 went back beautifully within 14 days and I picked up two T420s instead, myself and my brother. PS: For the best experience you should set the mode to standard, bass to -4 and treble to +3 and I have the woofer at -3 during the day and -6 in the evening.
