I switched from the Sony WF-C700N headphones. I've had it for a shorter time, but overall I'm happy so far.
Decent sound quality - but I recommend playing around with the settings in the Sony app
Good noise cancellation - but this is more due to the good noise cancellation of the plugs

I bought my headphones back in the dark days of floating starry white dust, when I was a loyal sheep in the amazing Apple "ecosystem" and owned, among other things, an iPhone. As it happens, anything that didn't have the bitten apple logo on it tended to malfunction in cooperation with eply products. With my then iPhone 15 Pro, the sound from these headphones kept dropping out, even when I had the phone practically under my nose in my breast pocket. On the other hand, when I was sitting still, they didn't play all that badly, despite that one. Uh-huh. an amazingly advanced codec. what's his name? Yeah, AAC, I think. Compared to my then-crazy AirPods Pro, the sound was on a completely different planet, so I didn't really complain too much. I was a relatively happy man, trapped in a golden cage. But then came D-Day! I've decided to leave the wonderful, innovative and absolutely flawless world of Apple. And you know what? It was my best decision as far as electronics were concerned. Today? My headphones work beautifully and without a single hiccup on my current Google "scrap". And the sound! With full support for all possible codecs incl. LDAC (yes, there are other than AAC, imagine! ) I can't praise him enough. Who knew openness and compatibility could be so fine, right?

. I own the Sony WH-1000XM4 and wanted something smaller for travel, the big ones are bulky and make my ears sweat in the summer. I also had the WF-1000XM3. I forgot that in-ear headphones will never sound like something that has a 4cm transducer. The sound is probably good for earbuds, I can't compare with another brand of headphones, I haven't had any. I wouldn't say it's miles better than the WF-1000XM3. As I said about the sound, it's pretty good, but if these are the best sounding earbuds according to reviews, I can't imagine how the cheaper ones from all manufacturers sound. You don't get the rich, detailed sound you get from the big Sony, especially at lower volumes. But what's worse, the connection drops out, three days maybe fine, then every other step, one or the other drops out. More people have a problem with it according to the feedback around the world. Tried everything, nothing helps. The WF-1000XM3 never did. It's a Samsung S23 Ultra, so it's probably not the phone. ANC good, but again incomparably worse with WH-1000XM4. When talking with music off and pass-through mode on, it's hard to hear the person talking to you.
