Since I have been a Spectrist since about 86 and have had my hands on all the basic ZX Spectra and Didaktik, I had certain expectations. It is possible to connect an external USB keyboard to the computer which, after using stickers with original labels, fully replaces the original keyboard. It's a pity that the original English manual is rather short, it only describes the basic controls, but something is better than nothing, you just have to search the internet, download and translate it. Then it's no problem to take a look at the Spectrum and you'll learn to use it in a day or two. It is a pity that there is no explanation of what basic commands are used for. But if you have a Spectrum to play with, there's nothing to fault. It can save data to memory, go back in games, save games played, it's just a good machine. It's just a shame that it only has audio output via HDMI cable and can't record to cassettes. The Spectrum I can easily recommend, for 2699 you get a quality machine and I don't understand how someone can buy an old shabby computer on Auction for several times the price and still without warranty.

For me as a veteran and owner of a zx spectra this is a hit, a beautiful piece. The customization options are wide. It's true that it takes some time to get used to navigating the menus and settings. For the ultimate retro experience, I appreciate that the tap and tzx files can be set in the menu to be recorded the old-fashioned way, like from a cassette. For controlling games, it is better to get a joystick or the original gamepad ( which is unfortunately unavailable for a long time). I also tried to connect a usb FDD drive but unfortunately without success. The lack of a speaker in the console or headphone output is a bit disappointing, sound is only possible via HDMI. A 1GB usb flash is enough to download more or less all games. Except for a few small things, this was really good
