Across about 5m of corridor through two doors, 350MB makes 150, which was quite disappointing. The main unit is connected to the router/modem via a cable, and all other units are then connected wirelessly to the main unit. The location of the router (or the main unit) is still very important. More drives can be detrimental, as sometimes computers connect to some of the more distant ones, which leads to a reduction in speed.
