The sound is sure to satisfy most ordinary users (an audiophile would certainly not buy a 2.1 setup)
As a few people have written, I have a similar problem with grunting. However, for me it only shows up if I have the volume and bass of the subwoofer at minimum. Somewhere there is a short circuit in the signal and the subwoofer seems to "kick" quite loudly now and then and it is not very pleasant. As soon as I increase the bass level just a little bit the "kicking" disappears.
