An Indian startup has come up with a ring that is heavily inspired by the Oura Ring. Data, measurements and applications are similar. However, it is still a relative novelty, as the ring does not have studies or comprehensive testing behind it like the aforementioned competitors. But despite this, I believe it is an interesting add-on for monitoring trends (temperature/HRV/temp) and most importantly without the need for an additional subscription. As far as activities are concerned, the ring is only suitable for resting (outside of sports) and sleeping. I would still choose a watch or chest strap for sports, as measuring these activities through a ring is inaccurate.

I am very satisfied with the functions of the ring. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the quality of the workmanship. On my ring, after a few days, the epoxy layer started to peel off the outer metal part - solved by a complaint within a few hours (kudos to Alza). So I ordered a new ring, but there was an epoxy layer with many bubbles in the sensor area, probably even slightly cracked - I returned the item due to poor quality. It is only with the third piece that I am satisfied in terms of quality. So I recommend to check the ring thoroughly after purchase and not to be afraid to exchange it, I rate Alza on this one.

Compared to the Oura ring they have +- the same measurements. In some ways Oura is better and in some ways UH
It has no subscription and this is a massive advantage over Oura + I received a life time subscription "X" i.e. their loss/theft insurance
Their support (you can chat through the app or Slack app) is absolutely fantastic
Every day I put it on the charger for a while before I shower and I use it like this for about 14 days. In the long term, it stays within the ideal 30-80%. After about 14 days, I'll put it on the charger for longer.
The app itself and all the data in general is great.
UH is constantly adding and plans to add a lot of things. They are planning an in-app ring locator for early 2024. So if you leave your ring somewhere at home, then you walk around the apartment with your phone and the app will beep the closer you get. Great!
The endurance is more like 4, max 5 days (but discharging to 0% is stupid) Somewhere it says 7 days, definitely not. But visa pluses, just give it a charge when you shower for a while and you don't have to deal with it.
