The kettle has a very nice and clean design. The lid opening button is in a practical place. The power consumption of 1800W is sufficient. The plastic body of the kettle acts as insulation, so nothing burns anywhere except the metal strip and the water stays hot. The kettle shows the current temperature on the display for a while, but after a while the display turns off, so it annoyingly doesn' t light up. Smart features are pretty much useless. For safety reasons, the kettle cannot be turned on remotely, even though it contains a water sensor. You will only know the current temperature on your mobile phone and you can set the temperature to be maintained. My parents have already replaced several kettles and this one has lasted for 3 years without a problem, so I reached for the same one. Although the teapot has Chinese labels in the illustration, don' t worry. You will receive a kettle intended for the EU market with English labels and the correct plug.

I don't understand how anyone could give this kettle any stars at all. Total disaster. I chose this kettle due to the fact that we have a previous version at home with touch controls - and it is great. The PRO version is a horror. The first kettle had a poorly shaped lid and when pouring water, the water somehow got caught on the edges of the kettle and ran all over the body, completely outside the desired container. Happens, we returned it, bought a new one, hoping it would be better. The other kettle worked fine, more or less. The fact that at the boiling point it splashes all over the pourer, ok, we can put less water. But after a few uses, the metal part of the lid came off. We said well, it happens, it is possible to have two bad pieces in a row. We came back and tried our luck for the third time. Third kettle. splashing water, okay, we're used to it. The water flows where we want it to, all ok. Yeah, but after a week it's showing 97°C at most, both on the kettle and in the app. At boiling point, it beeps, shuts off, but the temperature is 97°C. I really don't know if I'm gonna try this for the fourth time or what. I'm not enjoying this. I don't know if Alza got a really bad batch, but this is a no-go. Unfortunately, however, I can't find any other kettle that meets my requirements. It must be white, display the temperature on the kettle LED and preferably have a phone app to control the temperature. If there's one like it, besides this one, please, I'll buy it.
