Fantastic headphones for the price. I'm not an audiophile, but for the average mortal, they handle music well, and since you can set your own equalizer, I believe most users will be extremely satisfied. Noise cancellation is also available in transparent mode. Just beware that the noise cancellation is "stupid" and cuts mainly the lower frequencies (higher ones will pass). It's not a bad thing - just to have the right expectations... I can't recommend them enough if you're looking for a general purpose headset (calls, music, ...)

They exceeded expectations. For normal use (in public transport/train/office) they are sufficient. It doesn't filter out everything but it makes the noise much more bearable. I bought the headphones for temporary use, I ended up using them for more than a year and they still work.
The price-performance ratio is really great.
ANC works great for the price tag, deep sounds are filtered out almost one hundred percent, the feeling of "silence" when switched on is noticeable.
The sound quality is also good, but more focused on bass.
The ANC cannot filter out higher sounds.
Transparency mode, like ANC, focuses more on deeper sounds, not really usable in conversation.
ANC will turn off at high noise levels. For example, on a plane the noise is obviously at the limit of what the headphones can handle, so it turns itself off/on and cannot be changed.

I was looking for a replacement for the Lamax Dots1, where the earbud started to fall off at the left earpiece and stayed in my ear, not a great experience(s). I wanted earbuds without earbuds, I tried QCY QT33 AilyBuds Clear Black and Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 Black, but for various reasons I ended up with earbuds. For me they are absolutely great for the money. The only thing I always struggle with is the touch layer on the controls (Lamax have buttons). You can set the behaviour of the touch layer via the Xiaomi app. I didn't know ANC, it's interesting, but something I can live without and can turn off.
