23.8" Acer Nitro Gaming XV240YM
The Acer Nitro XV240YM gaming monitor ensures smooth visuals and accurate colour reproduction. On a 23.8" screen size with IPS panel technology, it displays content in Full HD 1920×1080 resolution. A high refresh rate of 180Hz combined with a 1ms (VRB) response time delivers a sharp image without motion blur, which is crucial for fast-paced action games. This 23.8" IPS monitor integrates AMD FreeSync Premium technology, which synchronises the graphics card's frame rate with the monitor, effectively preventing screen tearing. For faithful colour reproduction, the panel covers 99% of the sRGB colour space and supports the HDR10 standard, which extends the dynamic range of the image between the darker and lighter points of a scene. The flat design with a matte finish reduces glare and contributes to better concentration.

Image Fluidity for Competitive Gaming
The foundation for sharp display in dynamic scenes is a high refresh rate of 180Hz and a 1ms (VRB) response time. This combination reduces motion blur and ghosting, providing a clear advantage in competitive titles. In addition, AMD FreeSync Premium technology synchronises the monitor's refresh rate with the graphics card's output. This effectively eliminates screen tearing and stuttering, ensuring the gaming experience remains consistent and smooth without distracting artefacts.
Colour Reproduction
The IPS-type panel with Full HD resolution provides vibrant and consistent colours with wide viewing angles of 178° both horizontally and vertically. With 99% coverage of the sRGB colour space, the monitor displays colours exactly as the content creators intended. Support for the HDR10 standard further enhances the visual experience by increasing contrast and expanding the colour palette in compatible games and videos. With a colour depth of 16.7 million colours and a static contrast ratio of 1,000:1, details in both dark and light areas of the image are clearly visible.
Flexible Stand and Mounting Options
The ergonomically designed stand offers wide customisation options. The monitor's height can be adjusted within a 120mm range, making it easy to find the optimal position for your eyes. You can tilt the screen from -5° to 25° or swivel it 360° for easy content sharing. The pivot function is used to rotate the monitor by 90 degrees into a vertical position, which is useful for working with code, reading long texts, or managing vertical videos. For mounting on a wall or an external arm, the monitor uses VESA mounts with a 100×100mm spacing.
Connectivity Options
The monitor offers a wide range of connectivity options for various signal sources. It uses one DisplayPort 1.2 port and two HDMI 2.0 ports, allowing for easy connection of a computer, a games console, and other devices. For audio accessories, there is an audio output for headphones and a separate input for a microphone.

Colour Coverage (Gamut)
Determines how accurately a monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals. The higher the stated value, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
A value given in nits or cd/m² that determines the brightness level of the monitor. Brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are sufficient with values above 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
Refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the image and the less eye strain. A lower response time value (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
