The Philips 24PHS6000 TV uses a 24" LED panel with HD Ready resolution and the Titan OS operating system for fast access to apps. Pixel Plus HD technology optimises sharpness and contrast for a clearer display of details. Support for HDR10 and HLG standards processes content with a high dynamic range, delivering more faithful colour reproduction and high-contrast scenes. Its dimensions make this device suitable for smaller rooms, such as bedrooms, kitchens, or caravans, where it serves as a versatile multimedia centre.

Picture and Display Technology
The 24" LED panel with a 61cm screen size displays content in HD Ready resolution (1366 × 768 pixels) with a 50/60Hz refresh rate. The Direct LED backlighting evenly distributes light across the entire panel area, and its brightness is 200 nits. The Pixel Plus HD picture system enhances every frame in real-time, increasing sharpness and optimising contrast for more detailed rendering. The TV receives and processes a high dynamic range signal in HDR10 and HLG formats, which expand the colour space and improve visibility in both light and dark parts of the picture.

Sound and Smart Features
Sound is provided by two full-range speakers with a total output of 6W. The device decodes the Dolby Digital AC4 audio format, commonly used for digital broadcasts and streaming services. For better speech clarity, it includes a function for targeted vocal enhancement, which isolates and highlights dialogue over background noise. The user also has access to preset sound modes for music or films. The Automatic Volume Leveller (AVL) function compensates for sudden changes in sound level, typically during adverts, thus maintaining a stable listening experience. The Titan OS operating system provides a fast and clear interface for accessing apps and online content. An internal storage of 8GB is used for installing apps. Global services such as YouTube, NETFLIX, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video or Disney+ are available, as well as local ones like Prima+ or LepšíTV. The TV is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Basic functions can be controlled by voice via external smart devices. There is also support for HbbTV hybrid broadcasting for access to the online archives of TV stations.

Gaming Features
For gamers, the TV offers a GAME MODE, which optimises the picture settings to reduce input lag. When activated, the TV limits certain image processing processes, resulting in a faster response to controller commands and a smoother gaming experience. This setting is particularly beneficial for fast-paced games where a quick response is crucial. The TV's system also supports cloud gaming platforms that stream game titles over the internet without the need to connect a game console or a high-performance computer.

Connectivity
Three HDMI 2.0 ports are available for connecting external signal sources, all with HDCP 2.3 copy protection support. One of the ports includes an Audio Return Channel (ARC) for connecting to a soundbar with a single cable. Two USB ports play multimedia files (videos, music, pictures) from external drives. For audio systems, there is a digital optical output and a headphone jack with separate volume control. Wireless network connection is handled by Wi-Fi with DLNA support for sharing content on the home network. TV signal reception is handled by DVB-T2/C/S2 tuners with HEVC support.

Design and Mounting
With its dimensions of 549 × 339 × 75mm without the stand, the TV is suitable for smaller spaces such as kitchens, bedrooms, or motorhomes. The design with a thin black bezel focuses attention on the picture. The low weight of 2.55kg without the stand makes it easy to handle during installation. A pair of charcoal grey stands provide a stable base on furniture. For wall mounting, the device offers compatibility with the VESA standard with mounting holes spaced 200 × 200mm apart. This solution provides an alternative placement option and saves space in the interior.

Energy Information
In standard dynamic range (SDR) mode, the TV falls into energy class E with a consumption of 17kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. When watching content in HDR format, consumption increases to 27kWh per 1,000 hours, which corresponds to energy class G. In standby mode, power consumption is less than 0.5W. To reduce consumption, the device includes an ECO mode and a light sensor that automatically adjusts the screen brightness according to the ambient lighting. Other features include an automatic switch-off timer or the option to turn off the picture when listening to the radio.
