Wired LAN Ports Ready for Robust Gaming
The ASUS GT-AC5300 ROG Router offers classic cable ports with added modern features that get even more from Gigabit Transmission. 2 ports are reserved especially for gaming machines. Traffic on these ports is prioritised over everything else, so there's no impact, even when HD video is being streamed in the room next door. Link Aggregation can even be used on the other 2 ports. This connects the ports to transfer at up to 2Gbps.
Special 5GHz WiFi Band just for Games
Do you want to play anywhere, over WiFi unrestrained by other traffic? With the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AC5300 you can assign one of the two 5GHz bands for gaming devices only (computers, consoles ...). The second 5GHz band and the current 2.4GHz remain for other devices, so none of your devices will miss out on the highest bandwidth for their capabilities.

Acceleration Game Boost and Gamers Private Network on the ASUS GT-AC5300 ROG
After the different inputs, Game Boost is the second accelerating function of the Asus ROG router. It analyses, in detail, network traffic and prioritises gaming packets in front of everything else. It perfectly understands the popular game consoles such as Xbox One, PS3, PS4, PS4 Pro, PS Vita, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and gets the best of them. The third function is the Gamers Private Network, which provides a private and game-oriented connection to game servers with minimal lag.
