Our almonds were grown in the USA, but we roast them here in the Czech Republic in the best facilities. This is the only way we can meet the high demands of our customers. Some scientists claim that the almond tree was the first fruit species that man deliberately cultivated. They were found in the tomb of Tutankhamun, who lived more than 1300 BC, but there are much older finds, dating back to the Bronze Age. The size designation 23/25 indicates that there are 23 to 25 whole cores per ounce. The smaller the number, the larger the size of the individual almonds. And bigger almonds mean more flavour.

You can also use them in cooking, just be careful not to salt the food. You can't go wrong if you rinse them with water and get rid of excess salt before adding them to your food.
