The Blackview ROCK 2 meets the MIL-STD-810H standard and is ready for drops, impacts, vibrations, rain, dust, sand, humidity, and extreme temperatures. The design is protected by reinforced rubber corners, a solid back cover, an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy frame, and durable Panda Glass. The phone measures 188.6×89.7×25.3mm and weighs 548g, reflecting its robust construction and exceptionally large battery.
IP68 and IP69K certifications provide protection against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets. The phone can withstand immersion in up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes and also offers an underwater camera mode. The seal around the display is complemented by corrosion-resistant aluminium buttons with silicone seals and a TPU cover for the USB port. A handy speaker cleaning function helps to automatically remove trapped water and dust.
Glove control and practical tools
Glove Mode 2.0 makes it easier to use the phone with winter or work gloves, which you'll appreciate when working outdoors, on a construction site, or during outdoor activities. Smart System Manager 2.0 helps with cleaning storage, optimising performance, managing apps, and saving power. Focus Computing prioritises important tasks, Cold Room limits the activity of unused apps, and Smart Pre-Loading prepares frequently used apps for faster launching.
The system is complemented by Focus Mode to limit distracting notifications, Game Mode 2.0, a central search, and Motion Photo, which captures a short moment of movement and sound around the time a photo is taken. Privacy is enhanced by encrypted note storage, a private space, an app lock, more precise permission management, and the ability to record the screen only within a selected app.
