D-Link DWA-556

Extremely powerful PCI-Express Wi-Fi Adapter based on IEEE 802.11n standard featuring data transmission up to 300 Mbit/s of 2.4GHz band. With its 3 external antennae, providing up to 5 times more coverage than its 802.11g predecessor, it is particularly suited to corporate workstations where an extensive wireless network is already built. Adapter performance will be maximal if it works with active elements that also meet 802.11n standards, but backward compatibility with lower standards is guaranteed (802.11b /g).

Unwanted access to the network and protection of private data will be ensured by the reliable WPA2 security. Easy installation and subsequent configuration for the selected network with the help of an intuitive, Quick Setup Wizard. The practical Wireless Manager application keeps track of all the most frequently used networks. Fit the adapter to your PC into a PCI-Express slot of any size (x1, x4, x8, x16). With supplied standard and low profile brackets, it can be installed into traditional desktop computers.
