Durable construction and materials
The foundation consists of solid steel panels on both the left and right sides, which contribute to the overall rigidity and noise reduction of the build. The tried-and-tested top latch opening system makes it easy to access the inside without needing any tools. A removable front nylon filter increases airflow and can be easily removed for cleaning, keeping the interior space dust-free. The overall dimensions of 542×240×474mm make this case a spacious option with plenty of room for cable management.
Cooling in the Fractal Design Meshify 2 Solid
Efficient heat dissipation is handled by three pre-installed 140mm Dynamic X2 GP-14 fans, two of which draw air in at the front and one which exhausts it at the rear. The system supports the installation of up to nine fans to achieve high airflow under heavy loads. The integrated slim Nexus+ 2 hub centralises cooling management and connects three PWM and six 3-pin fans directly via the motherboard. The case also accommodates water cooling circuits with radiators up to 420mm at the top.
Flexible internal layout
The interior offers two basic configurations. The default "Open Layout" frees up space for airflow and large components. After converting to the "Storage Layout", you can install up to 11 hard drives and 4 SSDs, which makes the case ideal for use as data storage. Support for E-ATX motherboards up to 285mm wide ensures compatibility with powerful platforms on the market. Graphics cards have up to 470mm of space in the open layout.
Connectivity of the Meshify 2 Black Solid
The front panel features a modern interface, including one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port that handles high transfer speeds. There are also two USB 3.0 ports and audio jacks for headphones and a microphone, providing convenient access for your peripherals. Three dust filters protect components from contamination and extend their lifespan. Cable management is simplified by pre-prepared channels and Velcro straps behind the motherboard.
