Logitech X56 H.O.T.A.S. VR RGB
The X56 H.O.T.A.S. is a modern, military-grade simulator for VR and space flight. The joystick offers six degrees of freedom—pitch, roll, yaw, backwards, forwards, up, down, left and right. Designed by Logitech G to enhance the experience of VR gaming and the re-emerging space simulation genre, the advanced X56 H.O.T.A.S. is a shining example of complete control with analogue thumb sticks, RGB lighting, 16-bit aileron and elevator axis, 189 programmable controls and more. The updated X56 features an understated black and grey finish and engineering improvements. You can expect everything from fun, plug-and-play gaming to a professional, fine-tuned simulation.
Key Features of the Logitech X56 H.O.T.A.S. VR RGB Gaming Controller
- Modern military-grade simulator
- Joystick offers six degrees of freedom
- From fun plug-and-play gaming to professional, fine-tuned simulation
- Contactless Hall effect sensors within the 16-bit aileron and elevator axis
- Innovative twin throttles
- Customise all 13 axes, 5 HATS and 31 programmable buttons across three modes
- 189+ programmable controls
Six Degrees of Freedom
In modern space simulators with more dynamic spacecraft physics, control is more complex. This is very different from traditional atmosphere-based flight simulations. 6DoF is the six degrees of freedom—pitch, roll, yaw, backwards, forwards, up, down, left and right—that need to be taken into account. The X56 H.O.T.A.S. features unique, purpose-built mini analogue sticks at the thumbs, providing four more axes of control that also double as buttons, ideal for precise manoeuvres.
VR Verisimilitude
An advanced HOTAS like the X56 not only mirrors what you see on screen, the controls are also confidently placed in your hands. For these reasons, along with the huge number and sensitivity of the controls, the X56 is ideal for head-mounted display (HMD) and VR gaming.
Adjustable Accuracy
The contactless Hall effect sensors within the 16-bit aileron and elevator axes and the adjustable spring tensioning system give the X56 an unprecedented level of sensitivity and control at the stick, which is very important when piloting an Airbus. There are four springs of varying tensions for another layer of customisation.
Independent Twin Throttles
The innovative twin throttles are ideal for dual-engine spacecraft and aircraft. They're even better in combat situations when the main engine is disabled and only one remains. Simply adjust the friction required to move each throttle. If your craft is single-engine, a throttle lock effectively converts the twin throttles into a single unit.
189+ Programmable Controls
You can customise all 13 axes, 5 HATS and 31 programmable buttons across three modes. Adjust the deadbands and response curves to fine-tune the axes. Assign any button to any number of in-sim commands, such as afterburner, Frame Shift Drive, target lock or weapon group firing. The software also lets you assign mouse and keyboard commands to the X56, from single-key inputs to timed and macro commands.
Ready for Microsoft Flight Simulator
Take to the skies and experience the joy of flight in the next generation of Microsoft Flight Simulator, at its best on Logitech G flight gear. Travel the world in amazing detail with over 37 thousand airports, 2 million cities, 1.5 billion buildings, real mountains, roads, trees (2 trillion of them), rivers, animals, traffic, and more. Test your piloting skills against the challenges of night flying, real-time atmospheric simulation and live weather in a dynamic and living world. This gear is plug-and-play all the way, so there's no need to load drivers or install extra software.
