The GP Battery Charger can handle one or two NIMH batteries. It uses a slightly stronger charging current, so you can get more charged batteries faster. Charging is controlled by the timer and also includes a switch that automatically stops charging after recharging the inserted cells. The batteries can then remain in the charger without overloading. Defective or short-circuited cells are detected, of course thermal protection and retention mode after charging. A pair of AA batteries is part of the charger .
