Exactly like the previous generation the P9, the Huawei P10 will capture your attention thanks to its elegant design. You will immediately fall in love with its extremely thin all-metal construction only 6.98mm thick, coupled with smooth rounded curves and a unique nano-surface coating on the back of the device. That allows for a better grip and also prevents fingerprints. In addition, the nano layer makes the phone water resistant. In fact, the Huawei P10 is a staggering 80% more durable than its predecessor, in all weather conditions. Unlike the P9, the fingerprint sensor on the new generation has been moved to the front panel, and now also functions as an action button. The Huawei P10 in the alluring Mystic Silver colour delivers a top-of-the-range 5.1-inch IPS display and a dual-lens camera developed in cooperation with Leica. Thanks to the octa-core Kirin 960 processor pulsating under the hood of the P10, the phone also offers an unprecedented performance.
The front of the Huawei P10 is dominated by a stunning 5.1" Full HD resolution display offering a great pixel density of 432ppi. This delivers an unparalleled visual experience, no matter if you watch videos, films, or simply browse the internet. Because most smartphone users worry about the possibility of breaking their device's screen, the P10 comes with a durable Gorilla Glass 5 protective coating, which effectively prevents scratches and other damage.
Just below the display, you will find a new button with an integrated fingerprint sensor. Because it is now on the front panel of the device, it is much more easily accessible than on the previous generation. This button completely changes the way you control your device, as it replaces the three standard navigation buttons. The fingerprint sensor remains unchanged: you can still use it to unlock the phone or protect your sensitive data.
The phone's dual camera, on whose development Huawei once again collaborated with the legendary Leica Camera company, is complemented by an incredible 8Mpx front-facing camera, which is also Leica-certified.
The main camera provides a 12Mpx RGB (colour) and 20Mpx monochrome (black and white) sensor. In both modes, be it in colour or black and white, you can adjust the depth of field. The main camera boasts Leica lenses with an f/2.2 aperture and a dual LED flash. What else does the Dual Camera Leica offer?
The Huawei P10 uses an octa-core Kirin 960 processor clocked at 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz. The powerful eight cores are married to 4GB of memory, meaning running even the latest games will be a piece of cake. The phone will also easily handle running a large number of applications at the same time. The phone's superior components will ensure that the preinstalled Google Android 7.0 Nougat operating system embellished with the EMUI 5.1 user interface always runs swiftly and smoothly. For your data, 64GB of memory is available, further expandable using microSDXC memory cards up to 256GB. Surely, users will also appreciate the inbuilt reversible USB-C port.
The 3200mAh battery promises to take you through a full day of active use. However, in case the battery does run out in the end, the Huawei SuperCharge feature will come in handy. Not only will it render charging extremely fast, but thanks to five layers of protection, it will also be extremely safe.
