Camera connection method and PoE power supply
Each camera is connected directly to the main NVR using an Ethernet cable. This data cable transmits both camera power and data. The power supply of the camera is thus fully handled by the NVR recorder. The camera in turn sends data - the captured videos - to the NVR. Alternatively, the entire system can be connected to the existing distribution system. The advantage of the existing wiring is that the length of the cable to each camera from the NVR recorder can be up to 200 m. The wiring must be Ethernet cable, category Cat.5e, Cat.6 or higher.
