This active subwoofer by KRK is designed as the perfect complement to studio monitors and is perfectly suited for the reproduction of bass tones in combination with 4" to 8" speakers. When combined with Rokit or VTX series KRK speakers, you get a design-tailored speaker system with rounded edges. Diffraction, the well-known property between rectangular boxes, is suppressed to the maximum, and in addition, the rounded edges of the cabinet look perfect. The powerful 8" woofer with a glass fibre admixture deliver impressive bass sounds that are accurate and smooth.

KRK 8s2, a perfect companion with remarkable performance

The top-of-the-line subwoofer KRK 8s2 offers a low pass filter with a value from 30 to 205Hz. This value is flexible enough to connect the woofer to almost any speaker system. Featuring several connectors - XLR, TRS, or RCA, the woofer can be connected to the different sound sources. You can use a bypass mode to bridge the speaker connection and disable it without the need to disconnect the cables.
