RAID for speed and security
Thanks to the USB 3.0 and the Thunderbolt 2 interface, the LaCie 2big can be easily connected to any standard computer. A number of RAID modes allow you to adjust the device to your specific needs. Changing the RAID mode is dead simple. In order to maximise speed and capacity, just leave the device in the RAID 0 mode.

Automatic backup
Included are several applications for disk monitoring, unauthorised access prevention, as well as easy data backup.
Password protection
The LaCie Private-Public application will see to it that your files are completely confidential. In addition, the Thunderbolt 2 is compatible with Kensington locks.
