I wanted to try a change from TN to IPS after nine years and mainly because my existing Acer (GN246HLBbid Gaming) has DVI, HDMI and VGA inputs, but only offers a refresh rate of 60hz via HDMI and since my new PC with RTX 5060 graphics has neither DVI nor VGA output, I thought I'd try something new and increase the refresh rate a bit at the same time. but I'll admit I didn't want to spend it, I was a little scared. I wanted to return the monitor after the first time I turned it on!. even at that fine price! But I didn't and I'm glad I didn't, because somehow I managed to set it up so that the picture is really nice, I just think it's better not to use some of the features.
After some setup and experimentation (I tried different combinations of modes, etc. ) I managed to achieve a really nice picture, even when you realize how much the monitor costs!
The monitor has a thick power cord and a transformer with a weak cable in the package, so you connect it and the weaker one goes into the monitor, for me great (for some a stupidity, for me a pretty important thing that is not just the strong power cord from the socket straight to the monitor. )
Easy to set up with the joystick on the back - one button to set everything up so you don't have to keep fumbling for more.
In the menu it is possible to set the Czech language
Price/quality ratio - a nice surprise (but don't expect/expect miracles from it)
Supposedly it's a bit more "eye-friendly" than a TN monitor, so we'll see. if we see: -D
After the first time I turned it on with the basic (factory) picture settings, it was not pretty!
In the monitor settings you have different game modes - some modes I found unusable as it degraded the image quality.
Via HDMI cable it offers me a maximum refresh rate of 120hz even with a quality Hispeed hdmi 2.0 cable and yet the monitor offers a max of 200hz - it is clear to me that it will be via Displayport cable (I will buy), but if hdmi 2.0 cable supports in FullHD 1080p 30/60/120/144 and 240hz, so the monitor with hdmi 2.0 output could be able to offer those 144hz - graphics I have RTX 5060
It just seems to me that the edges are a little darker (left + right) sometimes it looks like they are bad - my old Acer 24 GN246HLBbid Gaming monitor (TN panel) didn't do this.
Like yes, when you look and lean closer to the screen, you see pixels. but if you're not thinking about it and you're not sitting 30cm from the monitor, that's fine by me.

I was on a TN panel for 6 years and decided to change the monitor. Even though I know it's a cheap IPS panel, the visual quality of games has changed dramatically compared to TN. A feast for the eyes as an undemanding player. I just had a problem with HDR in Windows which through the display port cable turned off the monitor but through HDMI it ran. But it's probably the old DP cable I used with the TN monitor, because there is only an HDMI cable in the package.
