LCD monitor will augment your PC setup with a wide-angle screen with a 25" display size. The aspect ratio of the device is 16:9. The heart of the monitor's functionality lies in its LCD LED technology, which provides affordability and high brightness coupled with fast response. The monitor has a 1920 × 1080 px resolution. The extra fast 1 ms response time will be appreciated when playing high-speed trigger-happy action games, not to mention it keeps the picture razor-sharp. The 144 Hz refresh rate is well above average, reduces eye fatigue, and delivers fluid image rendering. AOC lists the brightness as 400 cd/m2. Graphic artists will also appreciate the colour depth, which in this case is 8 bit. The monitor uses HDMI 1,4 and older , D-SUB (VGA) and DisplayPort for PC connection.
The AOC display takes up a space of 55,86 × 51,32 × 19,95 mm, while height can be adjusted as needed. Aside from the classic stand, you can attach it to the wall with a VESA mount. The display weights 5430 kg. The pivot feature makes things easier, as you can flip the monitor and rotate it 90° in both directions. A welcome addition are the in-built speakers with a satisfying audio output for multimedia and ordinary everyday tasks. The model also works as a USB hub for extra work comfort. One key parameter is the input signal; with the 25" AOC G2590PX-G2 it is HDMI 1,4 and older , D-SUB (VGA) and DisplayPort.
If you tend to spend your evenings in front of your PC, the monitor offers a blue light filter, which helps if you have trouble sleeping due to a disrupted circadian rhythm. There's also the Flicker-free mode, allaying eye pain and fatigue. A much coveted feature for gaming enthusiasts is proprietary image synchronisation with AMD graphics cards, usually known as FreeSync.
