I bought it as a replacement for a broken piece from a previous generation that was almost identical except for a minor bend. In general it's a good quality, fast monitor with a decent picture. For gaming it's great, I enjoyed Counter Strike and Horizon and the sag adds extra "immersion" to the action on screen. What I didn't expect is that the difference between the 1000R and 1500R curve is so noticeable. I was used to using the 1500R for a few years but this new 1000R was almost distracting, especially on the desktop and web. I still wasn't sure if the monitor was crooked, if I was sitting crooked, or if the sag was doing it. Because of this, I returned the monitor and am looking for something less saggy. But for people who sit closer to the monitor than I do, this may not be a problem, especially if you're counting pixels in CSk up close.

The new MSI apps are annoying. It no longer supports the old standalone Gaming OSD app, which was fine.
1000R on a 27" monitor is too saggy for me.
The text and icons are perhaps too sharp even with zero sharpness in the settings and it tired my eyes. This could probably be tweaked by adjusting the image settings on the PC.
