The pros and cons speak for themselves, but I’d like to put it in my own words as well. Television really is amazing. Black really is black – when there’s a scene in a film where it’s completely dark for a moment, I can’t see a thing in the bedroom: D, and conversely, the brightness is incredible. In short, the colours and image quality are incredible; even more expensive models don’t produce an image like this – because higher-end models have a matt finish to prevent glare, their colours suffer as they have to pass through that filter. So, whilst there is some slight glare during the day, the colours are top-notch: ) The sound is clear – it’s certainly not rubbish. You can’t get high-quality audio from such a thin telly, which is why I went straight for a soundbar, also from Samsung: ) They’ve thought this through brilliantly: with a Samsung TV and soundbar, the soundbar doesn’t mute the TV’s sound, so both play at the same time, which means I can still get at least a bit of sound from the TV: D I play games on the PS5, and on this TV it’s a completely different experience to anything I’ve ever had before – they work brilliantly together, and playing games now feels as though I’m playing brand-new games that I haven’t played yet: D I recommend it

It has its own operating system; it doesn’t run on Android, so you can’t download apps from Google Play. That’s why I’ve connected my nVidia SHIELD – I want to use my favourite apps, which is the biggest drawback for me. But for casual users who just want Netflix and the like, it’s more than enough.
