The speakers subjectively have a very good sound in their category. I tested several speakers, but no setup could even come close to this one (KRK ROKIT 5G5, Dynaudio LYD5). You will be surprised by the incredible fullness of sound that comes out of such small boxes. The low-end is also very good, but for some genres (rap, hip-hop) it's probably better to consider a subwoofer over time. The combination of the Eversolo DAC-Z8 and these A4V's has worked well for me, even though it may seem like a bit of overkill and most people can't tell a significant difference in DAC quality. The clarity and dynamics of the sound is at a very high level in these boxes. If you're struggling a bit with studio space, these are probably some of the best smaller studio monitors you can get these days.
