I was happy with the previous APC model, it worked for over 5 years before the battery went dead. That's why I bought 2 of these newer APC models. One UPS to myself, one to a relative in the family (so they were in different environments and differently utilized). The first UPS broke in 1.5 years, the second in less than 2 years. After my experience with this model, I will go to another brand next time.

It does what it's supposed to when the power goes out, it holds long enough. It will give you enough time to save everything in peace, hang up and shut down the computer.

The UPS was delivered to me a day later than promised and therefore during a (planned) power outage. I don't know how much it was charged from the factory, I plugged in a modem + router and it managed to power for 2 hours (and I worked /home office/ on my laptop from my own flashlight), for me super. Others mention the smell, I didn't notice. It's a bit grumpy for that (the transformer? ), nothing terrible, but you can hear it in the silence. Not recommended for the bedroom/living room. I haven't gotten to the configuration software from the laptop yet to see what can be set there, I'm only reading the status information to Home Assistant via the NUT protocol. When the power goes out, it beeps 4 times every 30 sec, which can be cancelled by holding the power button for 1s, but the next time it beeps again. Hopefully it can be adjusted in the configuration.
