Probably the best investment, but I resisted it for years. The rice cooker is "nice" enough to stand on the kitchen counter and be used daily. The capacity of 5 measuring cups will comfortably feed a family with 4 children and still have enough left over for a meal. It is very light to handle. Indeed, even a complete klutz can do it.
