I bought the fan especially for the very low noise level in the living room, or in the bedroom for sleeping on particularly warm summer days. At the lowest speed, I was very surprised that the sound of the blades is basically inaudible and even at a distance of four meters the fan produces a pleasant breeze. Up to speed 4, the blades do not create a disturbing impression and the wind power is sufficient. Unfortunately, even at the lowest speed, you can hear a very unpleasant pulse regulation of the engine speed which is disturbing. You don' t want to listen to this all night in the bedroom, and you don' t want to listen to it in the evening with the TV on low. Even the very poor range of the controller I would bite, but not the annoying buzzing. It is a great pity, otherwise the product is very interesting in design. Aerodynamically very well designed, but electronically underdeveloped. If you are looking for a really quiet fan for the bedroom or living room without hums and other disturbing elements, the Duux Whisper is probably the best choice at the moment. I bought it as a replacement and I am satisfied.
