Lightweight and very thin, but high quality e-ink tablet, with 10'3 300 PPI monochrome display (E-Ink Carta 1200). Compared to the colour e-ink Note Air 4C, white is not greyed out and provides excellent contrast, albeit at the expense of missing colours. Refresh rate is backlit, no problem browsing the web (due to e-ink technology but will never be as fast and smooth as LCD/OLED. ) Writing notes and documents is smooth, pleasant, with a similar feel to writing on paper due to the coarser texture on the display. The battery will last for weeks with airplane mode on. The tablet does not contain the so-called. frontlight light which allows reading in twilight or darkness. I miss this, but thanks to its absence, the e-ink display itself is closer to the surface of the tablet and provides better readability and there is not such a gap between it and the pen. The pen itself is nothing special, it is plastic, lightweight, has a clunky protective rubber cap and is magnetically attached to the tablet from the side. However, this magnet is very, very weak and does not stick. The tablet runs on Android which has been modified for use with e-ink, allowing you to download more or less all apps from the Play Store. This was critical for me, as I wanted a tablet that would allow me to easily read the study materials I have on Google Drive, or else. OneDrive, etc., (with Kindle you have to laboriously connect to a PC or send a file over the web with a delay, all files are not supported, etc. ) The tablet itself contains Czech, but it is often machine-translated in a strange way and contains strange errors (the refresh mode "A2" was translated as "A2 would be translated into English as A2, it is an alphanumeric symbol and therefore has no specific translation"), obscuring half the page. Useless for me. The English works without error though, someone there probably took the time to check it. Considering the lack of alternatives on the Czech market such as supernote or remarkable, I think you probably can't get anything better for the price/quality ratio at the moment. And if you want an Android or similarly flexible tablet for everything, you'll look no further than the BOOX brand.
